A great story about an Alaskan husky overcoming odds to run in the Iditarod Sled Dog race. Informative introduction to this famous race that takes place every year from Willow to Nome Alaska,a distance of 1,100 miles. So much is included about the dogs and how they are raised from puppies to be sled dogs.  This amazing race has always fascinated me. Interesting read for any one of any age.
